The mirror is produced from MDF, which is a type of wood for the fitting. It has 6 mm oak veneer for the background and 3 mm acrylic as the front. Acrylic is far safer than ordinary glass mirrors, as it has no sharp edges, and, in addition, it will not break into a thousand pieces that your child could cut themselves on if you should be so unlucky to drop it on the floor. You also receive two screws and plugs to hang the mirror up with. Finally, the smart fitting at the back will be able to hide all the ugly screws away, which gives the mirror a much refined and simple look – and you can hang it up wherever you want.
