Neck Training Neck training is important for the motor development of babies. It occurs when the baby lies on its stomach for as many of its waking hours as possible. By strengthening the neck muscles, the baby practices lifting its head, and you can avoid a flat or crooked back of the head.
Stimulation of the Baby Lying on the stomach is usually not the favorite discipline of most babies. And it can be difficult for parents to force the child onto its stomach. But with a mirror at, for example, the changing table, it is easier to get the baby to train its neck. Babies LOVE to look at themselves. This means that as soon as the baby sees itself, it will automatically lie down for a longer time, as it stimulates and entertains itself, while mom or dad can play and enjoy the development.
